If you’re like me and love the industrial chic look (or elements of it), but can’t always find what you want at Restoration Hardware then this post is for you! (You’re welcome!)
I’ve spent the last few
days weeks perusing the internet, malls and boutique stores looking for the perfect touches to my master bedroom and bath. As those rooms have a pared-down industrial look (especially the bathroom), I’m looking for solid, rustic details to round out the décor in my master suite. Enter my newest obsession: Rejuvenation.
I am totally into this store. I want to buy everything. Like everything. From mid-century side tables (a look I don’t even usually like) to beautiful nickel shower fixtures, to industrial domed pendants, to chunky woven sisal rugs, to every type of pharmacy style glass canister you can imagine – they have it all. And it’s beautiful.
Full disclosure: I know nothing about this company. They magically appeared in my mom’s email inbox a few weeks ago and she forwarded me the link saying, “I think you’ll like this store.” Uhh, yea! After doing a little poking around I’ve learned that they operate out of Portland, Oregon (the capital of rustic chic) and have been around since 1975. Independent until 2011 (when they joined the Williams Sonoma, Inc. portfolio of brands) the company retains it’s original aesthetic and has grown from manufacturing only vintage light fixtures to a wide range of period-style products. They also donate to part of their profits to good causes. Their website says:
“Rejuvenation also remains committed to supporting the causes that we believe help sustain livable communities. That commitment translates to donating ten percent of the company’s yearly after tax profits to organizations whose missions are in line with our business. These are non-profits primarily in the areas of environmental conservation, historic preservation, the arts, and equal access to housing.”
I’m not sure how I previously missed this on-trend, affordable, swoon-worthy store, but we’ve now struck quite the love affair and I thought I would share my latest obsession with the blogging world. Happy shopping!
