My favorite part of renovating a house is, of course, decorating finished rooms. And the best part of decor is, of course, the details. So it kind of goes without saying that I was super excited about the latest sweet details (or as I like to say, ‘deets’) in the nursery.
A few weeks ago I picked up – on sale (yay!) – a super cute changing table with funky mis-matched front drawers. The piece fit perfectly in the space and it was white, like the rest of the furniture, but it was a little too modern. I decided to add fun knobs to the flat front. This would help combat the modern look and add a cute detail, perfect for a nursery.
I went to my local Anthropologie store and picked up a handful of mis-matched colorful drawer pulls. Although they were $10-$15 each, and ended up costing about half of what I spent on the dresser, I think the result paid off.
And now I have a super cute, unique, changing table for the baby’s room!
We have just a few more mini-projects in the nursery, so stay tuned for the reveal!
